Large Black Lacquered Chinoiserie Carlton House Desk. The Carlton House design lends itself to a beautiful desk, featuring quality chinoiserie lacquered finish with gold painted scenes of characters, landscapes and foliage with a black tooled leather insert around the top section. The desk has plenty of storage in total there are eleven drawers with two cupboards, with brass handles/pulls. This fabulous piece of interior design has a fantastic decorative appeal to all. It's in good condition with a few marks and losses consistent with age.
